Open all year round, our farm shop is packed with the best of the season—from freshly picked fruits and vegetables, grown here on the farm, to carefully sourced local produce always chosen for freshness, flavour, and traceability.

Our on-site bakery fills the shop daily with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread, cakes, and pastries—all made from scratch using traditional recipes and high-quality ingredients. In our farmhouse kitchen, we also prepare a delicious range of deli products and pies using time-honoured methods and homegrown ingredients for real, comforting food with minimal food miles.

You’ll also discover shelves stocked with local favourites including preserves, juices, crisps, and our popular local honey—loved not only for its taste but also as a natural remedy for hay fever. The Essington Farm Shop is more than just shopping—it’s a taste of the farm in every bite.

Frequently asked questions

Is your meat or poultry halal or subject to religious slaughter?

Our animals are stunned and then killed. Non halal slaughter. The chicken is halal everything else isn’t.

Does your milk contain Bovaer?

No, it doesn’t. Our suppliers don’t use it either. This applies to beef cattle as well as dairy.

What products do you sell in the shop?

We sell fresh produce, homemade jams, local cheeses, baked goods, free-range eggs, meats, and artisan pantry items.

Can I pre-order items or food hampers?

Yes! Call us to pre-order seasonal boxes or hampers.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, gift vouchers are available for both the restaurant and the shop—perfect for birthdays, holidays, or just because. These are available to buy in the fam shop.
