At our multi award-winning Essington Butchery we offer the finest meats, from our own farm or local producers within just 5 miles. Expertly prepared using traditional methods, we focus on flavour, quality, and sustainability, selecting breeds for their exceptional taste. Our free-range pork and pedigree Hereford beef are hand-cut the old-fashioned way, ensuring every bite reflects our commitment to quality and sustainable farming.

Free-Range Pork
Our commitment to great taste starts with our free-range pork. Slow-reared and naturally fed, our pigs produce meat that is tender, succulent, and full of flavour. From classic roasting joints like shoulder, leg, and belly to modern cuts such as fillet and medallions, every part of the animal offers something special, whether for a Sunday feast or an everyday meal.
Our award-winning sausages, bacon, and hams are then produced with pride using this very same pork. Crafted from a traditional recipe, our sausages are fresh and high in meat content, with new speciality flavours made weekly. We dry-cure our bacon for two weeks to develop its rich, full flavour, while our hams and gammons follow the same careful curing process, creating a taste that’s simply irresistible.
Beef
Beef should be an experience — rich in flavour, perfectly tender, and expertly prepared. All our beef is traditionally matured for 28 days, allowing the natural depth and succulence to fully develop. In the butchery, you’ll discover an exceptional range, from prime roasting joints and succulent steaks to slow-cook favourites like brisket and short rib, all carefully prepared by skilled butchers.
Our renowned Pedigree Hereford beef, reared on the farm, is especially prized for its marbling and distinctive flavour. When demand is at its highest, we also partner with trusted local farmers within five miles, ensuring a consistent supply of the very best beef — rooted in quality, provenance, and taste..


Poultry
Our poultry is sourced from farms renowned for their high welfare standards and sustainable practices. From succulent chicken breasts to flavour-packed thighs, each bird is raised with the attention it deserves. Expertly prepared by our butchers, every cut delivers outstanding quality and rich, natural flavour.
Lamb
We work hand-in-hand with trusted local farms to source lamb of exceptional quality—reared just a few miles from Essington. Known for its tenderness and rich, distinctive flavour, our lamb is a true reflection of careful farming and expert preparation. From classic cuts to our indulgent lamb and garlic truffles, each offering is crafted to deliver a premium taste experience that celebrates the very best of our butchery and local heritage.


BBQ
Fire up the grill with our mouth-watering range of homemade BBQ favourites, crafted right here at Essington Butchery. Using only our own high-welfare meats or locally sourced cuts from trusted nearby farms, we offer a delicious selection of kebabs, burgers, ribs, sausages, drumsticks, chicken wings, steaks, and more. Our Simply Cook range is designed to bring ease and flavour to your table, with every dish made using our own or locally sourced meat, prepared by our skilled butchery team.
